About The Owner

The propietor of the Village Frame Shop is Marie, a former R.N. and SAHM (Stay-at-home-Mom). She first opened for business in her attractive home based studio. Within months she moved into a shop on Main Street in the Village of Pawling.

After just 2 years of satisfying so many clients in Pawling, Marie open a second location in Poughkeepsie, just across from Adams Fairacre Farms on Dutchess Turnpike. The Village Frame Shop now conveniently serves customers in Poughkeepsie, Pleasant Valley, Wappingers, Fishkill, Millbrook, Poughquag, Hopewell Junction, Lagrange, Hyde Park, Rhinebeck and Highland

With the opening of the shop in Poughkeepsie, in this bright and spacious shop she is able to offer mats cut with the Valiani computerized mat cutter, capable of cutting multiple openings, v-grooves, and unique designs.  In this new shop she offers an even larger selection of moldings for framing, including a beautiful high end selection of ready made photo frames by Addison Ross and Cannetti. The selection of art for sale in the gallery has grown too!
